Troop 1 was founded in 1917 and has been continuously chartered ever since. We have been chartered by the American Legion Post 113 for almost 90 years and are recognized as the oldest troop in the State of Idaho.

On February 1st, 2019, our chartered organization chartered one of the first Scouts BSA Troops for Girls and we welcomed them as a linked troop.
